Lei is an independent illustrator based in Buenos Aires. Her work explores the tension between the botanical and the figurative, meticulous detail and open brushwork — always from a sensibility that prefers stillness to noise.

She works mainly for publishers, magazines and independent projects, with a practice that moves naturally between paper and digital without giving up the trace of the hand.

Her personal series are at the heart of her practice: small bodies of work gathered without haste, guided by curiosity more than by commission.
